Frequently Asked & Questions

Find quick answers to common queries regarding Soni Garden's capacities, rules, and booking flexibility.

How far in advance should I book the venue?

We recommend booking at least 6 to 9 months in advance for peak wedding seasons (November to February). For other events and off-season dates, a notice of 2 to 3 months is usually sufficient, though availability is not guaranteed until a token is paid.

What is the maximum guest capacity?

Soni Garden comprises multiple distinct areas. The main outdoor lawn can comfortably accommodate up to 1000 guests, while our premium indoor banquet hall hosts up to 350 guests. We do not advise squeezing more people than the prescribed limit, as it degrades the premium experience we aim to provide.

Can we bring our own caterer?

We highly encourage you to try our extensive multi-cuisine in-house catering, famous for its quality and taste. However, if you have specific religious constraints or a highly specialized menu requirement, we do permit outside catering under strict management approval and an additional maintenance fee.

Do you have adequate parking facilities?

Yes, Soni Garden has a dedicated and secure parking area capable of accommodating up to 200 vehicles simultaneously. We provide valet parking on request for premium packages.

Are there changing rooms available for the bride and groom?

Absolutely. We provide two fully furnished, air-conditioned premium changing rooms (often colloquially known as bridal suites) with attached washrooms, full-length mirrors, and ample lighting for photography preparation.

What happens if it rains on the day of my outdoor lawn event?

Since Dehradun's weather can be unpredictable, we always suggest renting waterproof pandals for the main stage area during monsoons. In the event of a sudden, severe downpour, guests can be migrated to our indoor banquet halls, subject to availability and the size of your gathering.

Is there a restriction on loud music at night?

Yes. Due to local jurisdiction and municipal regulations covering Dehradun, loud DJ systems and band music must be strictly turned off by 10:00 PM. Soft instrumental background music can continue through our internal acoustic setup.
